PLANTAR·PYTHON® Plate
Anatomic Tension-Side Fixation1st TMT Plantar Fixation. Simplified.
For exclusive use with the LAPIPLASTY® System.Developed for use with CONTROL·360® Anatomic Biplanar™ Fixation as part of the LAPIPLASTY® System, the PLANTAR·PYTHON® Plate is uniquely precontoured to provide easy-to-apply plantar-based fixation for 1st TMT fusion. The helical geometry of the plate conforms to the complex anatomy of the 1st TMT joint, wrapping from the medial side of the cuneiform to the plantar surface of the metatarsal.

Clinical Advantages:
Easy-to-Apply Plantar FixationAnatomic pre-contoured design, and placement from the medial aspect of the cuneiform to the plantar side of the metatarsal, allows for easy-to-apply tension-side fixation through a conventional dorsal-medial incision.
The Power of Low-Profile Multiplanar Fixation
BIPLANAR™ Plating provides superior strength and endurance compared to an anatomic plate and compression screw construct under simulated Lapidus loading.
Streamlined Surgical Technique
Standard-sized, unicortical locking screws accommodate anatomical variations without the need for intra-operative measuring and reduce the risk of soft tissue irritation from screw tip protrusion.

Manufactured for Strength
Each PLANTAR·PYTHON® Plate is sculpture-milled on a five-axis CNC machine from a solid block of titanium, delivering the same precise anatomic pre-contour on each plate without introducing strength-compromising bending stresses.1.
