Doctor helps Missourians get back on their feet with new bunion procedure

KOMU-TV, the NBC affiliate in Jefferson City, Mo., aired a story on Dr. J.P. McAleer, who was the first physician in Missouri to perform the Lapiplasty® 3D Bunion Correction™. Although traditional bunion surgery has a high degree of reoccurrence, Dr. McAleer noted that none of the 100 plus patients who underwent the Lapiplasty® Procedure had their bunions return. As one of the first physicians in the country to perform Lapiplasty® 3D Bunion Correction™, Dr. McAleer has been traveling throughout Missouri and around the country to teach other doctors how to perform this surgery.
