Dr. Damian Roussel of the Centers for Advanced Orthopedics in Frederick, Maryland was interviewed for a segment on Lapiplasty® 3D Bunion Correction™. Due to the innovative nature of the procedure, many of Dr. Roussel’s patients start bearing weight approximately one week after surgery, compared to six weeks for the traditional method of correcting bunions. Dr. Roussel notes that he has been performing the procedure for about 18 months and believes that the Lapiplasty® Procedure may offer a lower chance of under correction and rate of recurrence.
