July 17, 2017 – Edgefield, SC – WJBF-TV, the ABC affiliate in Edgefield SC., aired a story on Dr. George Sich, who is utilizing a patented procedure called Lapiplasty® 3D Bunion CorrectionTM for patients with painful bunions.
According to Dr. Sich, “In the past [to correct a bunion], we broke the bone and shifted it back into position, which is a very uncomfortable procedure.” The new procedure by Treace Medical doesn’t break the bone, instead Lapiplasty® 3D Bunion CorrectionTM allows Dr. Sich to shift the metatarsal in three different directions back into the
